- just bcoz i wanna be an SC does not mean that i don't cherish the 'land' that i was born on. however, the definition of the 'land' is quite different from your understadning, i believe.
- 'motherland' is quite a term of the last century, don't you think? if communism were to be realized, everybody would be equal. The values of ppl would be united. Peace would ensue, together with globalization, the world would immerse as one. The earth is our motherland. the idea of single countries being someone's motherland is selfish and serves only political purposes--- to maintain the ruling government in power.
